Video: Saree-clad Theresa May visits Someshwara Temple in Bengaluru

Earlier on Tuesday, the British Prime Minister met Karnataka CM and interacted with students of a government school in Bengaluru.

Bengaluru: British Prime Minister Theresa May, who is on a three-day visit to India, donned a saree for a visit to the Someshwara Temple in Ulsoor area of Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Tuesday.

“PM visited the Sri Someshwara Temple in Bangalore to pay her respects at this ancient Hindu place of worship,” the official twitter channel for Prime Minister Theresa May's office tweeted with the video of her visit.

May, who arrived in India on Sunday, met Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Tuesday. She later interacted with students of Stonehill Government Higher Primary School in Tarahunse Village, Bangalore North Taluk, and enjoyed the fly past by the Indian Air Force with them.
