Hyderabad: Motorists crossing the LB Nagar junction to reach Kanchanbagh or Nagole will have to travel a few metres more and take a U-turn. The traffic police will be closing the junction to facilitate Metro Rail and skyway works from Sunday.
Motorists from Dilsukhnagar and intending to take a right turn towards Kanchanbagh will have travel a few metres more and take a U-turn.
Vehicles on the Vijaywada highway from Hayathnagar to Nagole will have to travel till D Mart showroom and take a U-turn. “We will conduct a trial on Sunday and see how it works,” said LB Nagar inspector Y. Narsimha Reddy.
He said that the RTC had been asked to shift the bus stop at LB Nagar junction a little ahead to a spot near Bank of India.
A police official said motorists would need to travel a small distance more but it would bring down their travel time as there would be no need to wait at the junction.
