ADILABAD: Rivulets and streams have been flooded following incessant rains for the last few days in old Adilabad district. It had been raining all day on Tuesday.
Floods have breached roads and culverts at several places severely affecting road connectivity to many villages. Scores of villagers have got stranded on banks of rivulets.
All major irrigation projects, including Kadam, Komaram Bheem and Satnala, are receiving heavy inflows.
Floodwaters have inundated standing crops of cotton and soya at various places in old Adilabad district.
An auto overturned into an overflowing rivulet in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district. Villagers managed to save all those in the auto, which got washed away in the floods.
