BENGALURU: A gang of miscreants hacked to death a youth in the Kamakshipalya police station limits on Friday night. The deceased has been identified as Mahesh, a local resident. The incident took place at Hegganahalli near Sunkadakatte right in the middle of the road.
According to police, Mahesh had been jailed along with his elder brother in connection with a murder. He had come out recently and was working as a driver.
On Friday night when he returning home on his bike after work, a gang of miscreants attacked him. Mahesh was chased and brutally murdered by the attackers. Kamakshipalya police suspect that personal rivalry may be the reason for murder. They have begun investigation and are examining the CCTV footage related to the incident.
