Hyderabad: A total of 109 cases of drunken driving were registered during the checks that were conducted at various locations under the Cyber-abad Police Commis-sionerate limits on Friday night, with the highest number of cases being booked by the Kukatpally traffic police and the lowest by the Shadnagar traffic police.
Cyberabad traffic police said that cases were booked even on ORR and National Highways.
The traffic police said that strict enforcement would be continued against all dangerous activities on roads that would affect road safety. Eighteen cases were booked by the Kukatpally traffic police followed by 16 cases by he Rajendranagar police station and 14 cases in Madhapur and Miyapur limits. The police requested the public to take up responsibility for road safety and desist from indulging in dangerous activities.
