Hyderabad: Twenty three teachers will receive the state’s Best Teacher Award on Friday. The awards will be given away by education minister Kadiyam Srihari and Deputy Chief Minister Mehmood Ali at Ravindra Bharthi on Friday evening.
The teachers, who have been selected for the award, are from districts like Sangareddy, Jagtial, Warangal, Peddapalli, Mehabubnagar, Khammam, Nalgonda, Jangaon, Nagarkurnool and Siddipet, etc.
The state best teacher award is given every year on the occasion of the Teacher’s Day. The school education department decides the eligibility criteria and selects best teachers for the award.
Teachers with at least 20 years of experience and those, who are innovative, sincere and committed towards the teaching profession, are eligible to this award.
