Visakhapatnam: Anakapalle MP Dr Sathyavati requested the Central government to take necessary steps to halt the Vande Bharat train at Anakapalle railway station.
On Monday in the Parliament, under rule No. 377, the MP informed the Lok Sabha that Anakapalle is a very important district in AP. “It is developing in terms of tourism. Many employees and students regularly travel from Narsipatnam, Tuni, Ylamanchili and other areas.
There are a good number of people who travel between Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam from here. Due to the lack of a halt for the Vande Bharat train in Anakapalle, passengers are facing financial problems as well as taking more time,” she said.
