PM, Rahul Gandhi, CMs coming to pay last respects to DMK chief M Karunanidhi
His mortal remains will be kept at Rajaji Hall for the public to pay their respects.
Chennai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive here by a special flight at 8 am to pay his last respects to DMK chief M. Karunanidhi on Wednesday. In addition, a team of MPs will also arrive in the morning.
Congress president Rahul Gandhi, accompanied by his party colleagues Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mukul Wasnik, besides New Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, would also arrive to the city to pay their respects to Karunanidhi.
His mortal remains will be kept at Rajaji Hall for the public to pay their respects. Tamil Nadu will observe one week of mourning.
