Traffic management plan for Krishna Pushkaralu in Kakinada
Kakinada: The police department has come out with a traffic management plan for the upcoming Krishna Pushkaralu.
The officials say that there will be no traffic restrictions on vehicles during Pushkaralu to be held from August 12 to 23.
Superintendent of police M. Ravi Prakash said the vehicles which are carrying out essential commodities and perishable goods will be given top priority under the plan.
The vehicles plying between Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad on NH 16 should go through new bridge at Diwancheruvu through Devarapalli, Aswaraopet, Sathupalli, Khammam and Suryaraopet.
The heavy vehicles containing of 14 tyres or above will be stopped at specified places for a few days on NH. If vehicular congestion is cleared in the route of Hanuman Junction, Gudivada, Challapalli, Bapatla and Ongole, the stopped vehicles will be allowed to proceed.
The vehicles containing of below 14 tyres on NH-16 must be diverted at Tadepalligudem through Pippara, Bhimavaram, Gudivada, Pamarru, Challapalli, Bapatla and Ongole.
Another route must be diverted on NH 16 at Siddhantham through Penugonda, Palakollu, Bhimavaram, Gudivada, Pamarru, Challapalli, Bapatla and Ongole. Another route on NH 16 at Ravulapalem must be diverted to Ambajipet, P.Gannavaram, Razole and Palakollu.
The vehicles at Kathipudi have to be diverted their route through Kakinada, Yanam, Amalapuram, Ambajipet, P.Gannavaram, Razole and Palakollu.
Mr.Ravi Prakash advised the heavy vehicle drivers and its owners and also the traders to put off their travels until completion of Krishna Pushkaralu.
He said that if the vehicular drivers expect that if any inconvenience on the traffic management plan, drawn by the police, they can choose alternative routes without creating hindrances to Pushkaralu routes.
He said that if any vehicle gets trouble in the routes, lakhs of people would face troubles and the vehicular owners and drivers should notice it.
