Hyderabad: PSO who shot himself out of danger

Babu is out of danger and he tried ending his life worried over his financial condition.

Hyderabad: The constable who shot himself with his AK-47 rifle on Friday was facing financial and domestic problems which pushed him to take this extreme step.

Kishore Babu, 40, was working as the Personal Security Officer to retired IPS officer, R.P. Meena was immediately operated upon last night and is out of danger.

Banjara Hills ACP, K. Srinivas Rao, said that Babu was out of danger and he tried ending his life worried over his financial condition.

“Babu is not earning enough to take care of his family’s expenses. He has two children who are in school,” said P. Naresh, sub-inspector of Jubilee Hills police station.

The official ruled out any family problems and reiterated that the constable was only troubled due to his financial woes. Kishore shot himself on the chest with his rifle on Friday evening.
