Leaders of welfare associations said that the government had got possession of the land following a dispute.
Concerned over the real estate industry, which is down in the dumps, the state has been working overtime and has unveiled a series of measures like reduction of guideline value, decentralisation of building approval plans and amendment in town planning rules to regularise illegal buildings.
Hyderabad: Residents of a few bastis at Bhojagutta, Mehdipatnam, on Friday asked the government to regularise their houses, which were constructed three decades ago, under GO 58.
Leaders of welfare associations said that the government had got possession of the land following a dispute. They said the residents had electricity, water and sewerage connections.
