Kozhikode: Third anniversary celebration of the online literary collective “Ente Thoolika” will be held at Nalanda Auditorium, here, on Sunday, the organisers said in a press conference on Friday.
Writer Kalpetta Narayanan will inaugurate the function. Chief administrator of the collective Amina Saheer will preside over the function. Writers including P.K. Parakkadavu, Veerankutty, Injikkadu Balachandran, Pavithr-an Theekkuni, T.G. Vijayakumar and film actor Santhosh Keezhatoor among others will participate.
Five books of the members of the collective will be released in the function. A YouTube channel of the collective namely ‘Symphony” will also be launched at the venue.
‘Ente Thoolika’ is an online platform to encourage the literary works of people interested in literature. The ‘four lakh member group’ is coordinated by a group of 50 plus admins who regulate the flow of literary works, articles, literary contests and discourses.
This registered group is active in online since last three years. Ente Thoolika opened the opportunity for members to publish and distribute their poems, short stories and novels. The collective has already published seven books of members.
This collective also encourages charity services along with promotion of authors. All these apart, the collective also owns a round the clock alert blood donation team. The anniversary celebrations of previous years were held at Kerala Sahithya Academy, Thrissur.
