According to police, the victim Prabhakaran (32), an IT staff from Nungambakkam, had gone to his friend’s house in Maraimalai Nagar on Saturday. When he was returning home on his two-wheeler, two men in an auto-rickshaw intercepted him near Irumbuliyur.
