Hyderabad: AICC secretary V. Hanumantha Rao said that he will begin an indefinite hunger strike seeking the reinstallation of Dr B.R. Ambedkar statue after the second phase of ZPTC and MPTC elections.
Mr Rao said that he is ready to die seeking the reinstallation of Ambedkar statue, which was removed from Panjagutta recently.
Speaking to media persons on Tuesday, he said that the government did not get police register a case on this issue till today. He said the cases were booked only against sanitation workers and the officials were spared.
He said that MRPS leader Manda Krishna Madiga will conduct a dharna on Wednesday and will take up an indefinite hunger strike after second phase of local body elections.
