Thiruvananthapuram: 100 per cent result in ICSE, ISC exams

City schools excel in X, XII board exams.

Thiruvananthapuram: City schools have recorded hundred per cent results in the ICSE and ISC board exams, results of which came on Tuesday.

Sarvodaya Vidyalaya, Nalanchira

In ISC (class XII), Devika R. Pillai secured first place (96%) and Gokul L.P the second place (96%).
In the ICSE (Class X), Adithyan R. secured first place (97.4%) while Siva Priya S.J and Gouri S Pillai (97.2%) shared the second position.

Christ Nagar Higher Secondary School, Kowdiar

Of the 145 ICSE students appeared, 143 got distinction and two, first class.
Donel Chacko Baby topped with 98.4 per cent score followed by Govind G.S., Abhinav Viju Pillai and Harikrishnan R. (98 per cent each), and Arjun Mahadevan Sajeev (97.6 per cent).
For the ISC, of the 94 students, 88 got the distinction and six first class. Toppers are Shreya Smitha (99.25 per cent), Ankita Radhakrishnan (99 per cent) and Amina S. (98.5 per cent).

L’ecole Chempaka

Fiona Edwin with 99.75 secured the national second rank and the first in Kerala in the ISC. Megha Niranjana Nair secured the second position (98.5 per cent), followed by Anna Basil Gomez (97.25 per cent).
In commerce, Gayathri Karthikeyan bagged the top spot with 97.25 per cent, followed by John Noble with 93.75 per cent and Evelyn Dennis Joseph with 93 per cent.
In humanities, Ivan S. secured the top spot with 95.25 per cent, followed by Keerthana S. Nair with 94 per cent and Aishwarya Mary Philip Thundiyil with 91.75 per cent. Of the 51 students who took the exam, 43 attained distinction and eight, first class.
In the ICSE, all the 103 students passed with 88 securing distinctions, 13 first classes and two, second classes.
Jyotsna Rajalakshmi Nair and Hridya R. Nair shared the first position with 98.2 per cent. Prajna Rajalakshmi Nair secured the second position with 98 per cent, followed by Vivek Rajesh Nair with 97.5 per cent.

Mount Carmel Convent Anglo Indian Girls High School Tangasseri, Kollam

ICSE: No of candidates: 218, distinction: 114, first class-104.
Jolly Jude (95.8%) came on top followed by Ann Mary Brian (95.2%) and Rugma P. Sethu (95%)
ISC: No of students -78, distinctions- 58, first class - 20.
Toppers - science: Juby Maria B. (97%), Chinju Fathima N. A. (95.5%), Commerce: Chandini K. (95.25%), Nandini Sathyan S. (88.5%)

Holy Angels’ ISC Nanthencode

Distinctions 73, first class 22. The toppers in science are Meenakshi S. (99.25%), Rose George (97.75%) and Shreya S Prabhu (97.5 %) and in commerce Kezia Manesh (88.25%), Aamina Ibrahim (86.75 %) and Malavika Raj (86.25%).
