No respite likely from heatwave in May: Official

Hyderabad: There seems to be no escape from the heatwave as officials predict the same condition to prevail in the state till May 10 as dry weather has increased the temperature.

Extreme heat was also reported in the Nalgonda district too.

The weather department has stated that heatwave will prevail in Adilabad, Khammam, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Warangal, Mahabubnagar, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad and other districts of the state.

With the increasing heat, people are avoiding travelling during noon hours.

There are also complaining about burning eyes, skin and also severe fatigue as the heat peaks during noon hours.

The weather department has stated that entire May will be seeing continuous heat waves and it is advisable for people to stay indoors and stay hydrated
