Hyderabad: Two women found dead in pool of blood
Hyderabad: A newlywed woman and her mother-in-law were found murdered in their apartment in Roshan Colony, Vattepally, under Mailardevpally police limits, on Monday night. The former’s husband Syed Moin Khan noticed his mother and wife lying dead in a pool of blood when he got home from work. He also observed that two tolas of gold had gone missing from the house.
Syed Moin Khan, 25, a native of Parigi, had been living in Roshan Colony with his wife Tayyaba Begum and mother Sabiha Begum, 55. Moin is into tailoring, while Tayyaba, a school dropout, was a homemaker. The couple got married on March 8 this year
On the day of the incident, Moin left home around 11.30 am to go to work in Troop Bazaar. He finished work rather late that evening and on his way back home, purchased fruits and other edibles to celebrate the beginning of the month of Ramzan.
“Upon reaching home, Moin noticed that the main door was open. Inside, he found his mother lying dead in a pool of blood with severe injuries on her head. When he looked inside the bedroom, he found that his wife, too, had been killed,” said Mailardevpally inspector A. Sathaiah Goud.
The inspector said that a gold chain, weighing about one and a half tolas, and another nuptial thread, weighing about 5 gm in gold, had gone missing from the house. Based on Moin’s complaint, a case of murder and robbery was registered for the probe. Investigation of the CCTV footage is underway.
