Hyderabad: Bhavana secures 98.25 per cent in ISC commerce stream

Hyderabad: The Southern region scored the highest pass percentage with 98.91 per cent in the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC), equivalent to Class XII, results, that were declared on Tuesday.

City students were among those who excelled in the exam. Rohan Shah from Gitanjali Devshala scored 98.25 per cent in the commerce stream. He said that his result was beyond his expectations and taht he is excited for that.

Speking to this newspaper, he said “Constant preparation is what helped me in achieving this goal and I would like to thank my parents for their belief in me and their constant support.” Rohan is from Hyderabad and his parents are into financial business.

Other students from the city also shared 98.25 per cent. Ms Bhavana Chowdary from Future Kids school also secured 98.25 per cent from Commerce branch.

From the Science stream, another city student, Mr Ainesh Sanyal, secured 96.4 per cent. He said that he would like to pursue a career in research in the field of physics and is currently preparing for that. He attributed the reason fo rhis success to his teachers. “I followed my teachers’ advice and loved the subject that I am studying, which is the secret of my success.” Ainesh’s parents run a consultancy and are based in Hyderabad.

For ISC students, the exams began on Feb. 4 and concluded on March 25 and about 96.52 per cent students passed the exam
