Fire at CM K Chandrashekhar Rao's camp office causes panic

The official also said that the loss caused due to the minor is under assessment.

HYDERABAD: Tense atmosphere prevailed among staff at the Secretariat when a fire broke outside the Chief Minister’s office block on Monday morning. Fire emanated from the electrical panel of the A/C plant. A. Venkat Nagendra, fire officer said, “The fire broke out at about 8.20 am and was caused due to a short circuit.”

On receiving information, fire fighters rushed to the spot and put out the flames using cylinders containing mist. The official also said it took about only 30 seconds to put off the fire and there were no casualties reported. The official also said that the loss caused due to the minor is under assessment.
