Vijayawada: The builders around Amaravati capital city location are eagerly waiting to sell their new apartment ventures in view of shifting of staff from Hyderabad to the temporary Secretariat at Velagapudi in Guntur district.

Nearly 300 new apartments near Amaravati capital city location are ready for sale in the open market.

Several apartments between Vijayawada and Nagarjuna University stretch, Tadepalli, Unda-valli in Guntur district and Vijayawada-Ibrah-impatnam stretch in Krishna district are under construction.

The builders hope that the employees may buy apartments for their residence and also investment purpose.

Some of them already purchased apartments while some are readying the apartments to give them to the employees for rent.

The builders have initiated their projects following the development plans of Amaravati capital city and temporary Secretariat.

Now several new apartments are being completed at Kunchanapalli, Tadepalli, Atmakuru, Mangalagiri, Vundavalli, Penumaka outskirts, Kaza, Nagarjuna University area in Guntur district.

Similarly, new apartments are ready for sale at Gollapudi, Ibrahimpatnam, Jupudi and its surrounding villages.

Mainly, builders have begun their projects in view of demand from shifting of employees and business establishments.

Divya Prabhas Projects managing director A. Sivarami Reddy said that nearly 200 new apartments are under construction on Vijayawada-Guntur stretch. He said that the fate of new apartments depended on employees’ investment plan.

Meanwhile, the build-ers are also making plans to begin new ventures based on future demand, says Jakka Srinivasa Rao, who is general manager of Infra company.

He said that all the builders and realtors invested all their money on lands and new apartments. If the sales activity gets speeded up, then only they would come out of financial crisis and start new ventures.
