PM Modi interacts with students onboard Vande Bharat Express

Students also made posters on Atmanirbhar Bharat, Vande Bharat and Swacch Bharat which they showed to PM

Hyderabad: A select group of students from the city had one of the greatest moments of their lives when Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with them before flagging off the Vande Bharat Express at Secunderabad station.

Sri Chaitanya, Class 10 student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bolaram, felt honoured to be present at the event and to get the opportunity to interact with the PM, which, she said, was a special moment.

Chaitanya said, “It was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me. To be here and to be a part of this event is itself a big achievement for me. I am very happy that I could make my parents proud.”

Students had made posters on Atmanirbhar Bharat, Vande Bharat and Swacch Bharat which they showed the PM, who quizzed them about their understanding of the themes.

The PM also enquired about their studies and interests. He stressed that they were the future of the country and that the responsibility of the country rested on their shoulders.

V. Madhumita, an Intermediate student, said, “This has been the most wonderful experience I have had. I feel so fortunate that the Prime Minister spoke to me. He enquired about my studies and asked if I could manage to focus on fitness and find time to do yoga. I told him that I do yoga before going to school and also attend yoga classes in the school regularly.”

Another student, Ardhi Vedika, had made a poster on Vande Bharat, and her hope of showing it to Modi came true. He saw the poster and asked what message she wanted to convey through the poster.

“I told the PM that it is about Make in India including the train itself, and how I feel that we are on the path to become self-reliant or Atmanirbhar.”

The Prime Minister asked the students if they liked the train and how they found the event and also shared some lighter moments with them.
