Students are being given different sets of papers to solve.

Hyderabad: The second round of the JEE exams began on 7th April and will be carried out till 10th April. The students who appeared for the exams on 7th April reported that its question paper was much easier compared to the question papers that they answered in January.

There are four major centres in the city, which are conducting the exams in two shifts. Each shift accommodates over 1,000 students appearing for the computer-based test.

The second attempt to the JEE is critical for students as it is their chance to perform better as The National Testing Agency is now conducting two tests and the best score of the two will be taken into account in ranking the students. The first round of the JEE tests was held in January, and this is the first time that the JEE is being held twice. This is being done to give the students a chance to score better.

Students are being given different sets of papers to solve. In the exams held in January, it was found that the first three sets were very difficult. Most of the students found the Mathematics paper difficult.

Paper 1 on Sunday had some students complaining that the Mathematics paper was difficult. However, compared to the papers that they answered in January, it was easy. Students stated that the questions covered vectors, trigonometry, and determinants among other topics. In the aptitude section, it was found that the questions were very direct and not twisted.

For those who had applied for Architecture, too, the questions were easier compared to those that they had answered in January.

Overall, the students found the exams to be easy and stated that it would lead to more competition.
