The hall tickets can be downloaded from https://eamcet.tsche.ac.in from April 20.

HYDERABAD: Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) will be conducted as a computer based test for the first time this year in 18 test zones in Telangana and four test zones in Andhra Pradesh. The exam will be conducted from May 2 to 7, with two sessions per day. The morning session will be held from 10 am to 1 pm and the afternoon session will be from 3 to 6 pm. The test for the agricultural and medical streams will be held on May 2 and 3 and the exam for the engineering stream will be held on May 4, 5 and 7, 2018.

To ensure that there will be no technical glitches, uninterrupted power supply on the day of examination has been assured. The managing director, RTC, has also been notified to run special buses so that students can easily reach exam centres. The Computer Based Test (CBT) method was chosen as it is now turning into the standard format for most entrance and recruitment tests since there is no issue of bubbling done in a haste. Candidates can easily know how many questions they have marked and there is greater security against paper leaks.

To assure students that there is no reason to fear, awareness sessions will be conducted in districts from April 8, 2018 and free computer based practice test will be held on April 19 and 20 at Warangal, Khammam, Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Nalgonda and Hyderabad. The hall tickets can be downloaded from https://eamcet.tsche.ac.in from April 20.
