Hyderabad: Minister for animal husbandry and dairy development T. Srinivasa Yadav on Thursday said that some media houses have been misleading the people by projecting the data theft case as an interstate dispute.
Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan, Mr Yadav criticised Telugu Desam leaders and ministers of AP for lodging complaints against the Telangana state government, accusing it of data theft. He refuted the allegations levelled by some of TD ministers that the TRS had a role in the deletion of 24 lakh names from voters from the voters' list.
Rattled with the data theft episode involving IT Grid, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is making contradictory statements in an attempt to cover up his mistakes, he added.
