Mysuru: Two more bodies of students found from lake

The bodies were handed over to the families after autopsy at K.R. hospital here on Wednesday.

Mysuru: The bodies of the remaining two of the four SSLC students, who had drowned on Tuesday in a lake in Hyrige village in Hunsur rural police station limits in Mysuru district, was fished out on Wednesday morning.

Four SSLC students of St Joseph School, Jai Bharath, Dhananjay, Yeshwanth, Akshay, all 16 years of age, had accidentally drowned and died when they had been to swim in a lake after finishing their Maths preparatory exams on Wednesday afternoon.

While two of the bodies were fished out on Tuesday, fire and emergency services staff had to halt the operation due to poor light. They resumed search on Wednesday morning and traced the remaining two bodies of Jai Bharath and Dhananjay on Wednesday morning.

The bodies were handed over to the families after autopsy at K.R. hospital here on Wednesday. Hunsur rural police have registered the case.
