International Women's Day: Air India operates world's longest all-women flight

Flight AI 173 departed from Delhi on March 6th and landed in San Francisco after travelling close to 17 hrs.
Air India is looking to increase the hedging limit with respect to fuel costs as it can benefit from current fall in crude oil prices.
Chennai: Commemorating International Women’s Day, Air India made history flying the world’s longest all-women operated and supported flight on the Non-Stop Delhi- San Francisco route.
The flight AI 173 departed from Delhi on March 6th and landed in San Francisco after travelling close to 17 hrs and covering a distance of around 14,500 km.
