Chennai: With high decibel election campaign all set to start in coming weeks, a Chennai-based startup company has come out with an app to carry out various surveys including poll survey to gauge the voters mood.
Sysmedac India Private Limited, a Chennai based IT startup, has released a free mobile app in Google Play store namely – Survey App — for conducting surveys. Survey App lets you conduct surveys or polls or quizzes through your mobile phone. The app can be used for multiple purpose including poll and market surveys. “A political leader can create his or her own survey to get a feedback from voters.
The survey can be either open type where anybody logged into the app can respond or closed one wherein only the invited or targeted people can respond.
The survey results wills help gauge the voter’s or respondent’s mood,” Subramania Pillai, managing director, Sysmedac Technologies India Private Limited, told Deccan Chronicle.
Not only polls, anyone confused over the choice of movie to watch over the weekend or hotel to dine or best travel destination in this summer or mobile to buy can use it. “You can run a quick survey with your friends and choose one,” he said, adding that the App can be used to even conduct a quiz in the class or office. “Create a quiz and invite your classmates to participate, even you can set the cutoff date for the survey,” he noted.
Mr Pillai said that new surveys could be created and managed easily. “You can analyze survey results and export it in excel format. You can also manage the expiry date of the survey and retain them for quick references. You can respond to all open and by invitation surveys,” he said.
