Hyderabad: Work together and Speed up SRDP works, says K T Rama Rao

Hyderabad: Minister K.T. Rama Rao has instructed the government departments involved in execution of Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP) project to work in co-ordination and speed up the works. He also instructed officials to reduce the time duration of tenders for shifting water and electricity lines.

In the meeting held on Wednesday with officials of the water board, Transco, CPDCL and GHMC, KTR told the officials to avoid halting works until financial transactions were completed between departments. He also spoke with the district collectors and the revenue department on land acquisition for construction of flyovers and underpasses as part of the SRDP project.
