Hyderabad: The students union of English and Foreign Languages University went on strike on Sunday night demanding revocation of the action taken against eight students in November last. The eight students against whom disciplinary action was taken took part in the protests.
The university’s Proctorial Board will meet on Monday and action on the eight students is expected to be discussed.The action ranged from suspension from hostel, cutting PhD fellowships to restricting presence of some students in campus from 9 am to 6 pm.
