Vijayawada: e-Pragati to monitor all state welfare schemes
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has directed to integrate Pulse Survey with welfare schemes and also to bring them under e-Pragathi authority. He has suggested to the IT and finance departments to initiate proceedings towards that direction. “The details of Pulse Survey and the applications and solutions found out in Janmabhoomi should be recorded properly,” the Chief Minister has said. In a meeting convened at his Undavalli residence on Saturday morning, the Chief Minister has specifically stated that the e-Pragathi authority should take the responsibility of coordinating the departments which take care of welfare schemes.
He has suggested to make adequate changes in the working pattern of various departments which will be coordinated under e-Pragathi authority. The Pulse Survey and Janmabhoomi draft should be made available online by January 26, the Chief Minister has suggested. UIDAI chairman J. Satyanarayana has informed to the Chief Minister that workshops would be convened to sensitise the officials on the new guidelines.
Meanwhile, on the eve of the 20th edition of the National Conference for e-Governance 2016-17, that would take place in Visakhapatnam on January 9 and 10, the Chief Minister has convened a tele-conference with the top brass of officials in the IT department. AP should be the launch pad to the new innovations in IT and fruits of IT have to empower the common man in the state, the Chief Minister said on the occasion.

Vija-yanand, secretary, depar-tment of IT, CMD- APTtr-ansco and MD,APGenco P. Pradyumna, joint secretary to CM, J. Satyana-rayana also participated in the tele-conference.
