Traffic advisory for PM\'s public meet at LB stadium

Hyderabad: In view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to LB Stadium on Tuesday the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) has decided to close NTR Gardens and Lumbini Park. HMDA in a press release said that, as both the parks witness heavy footfall, the police department had advised the HMDA to close them.

The police have imposed traffic restrictions from 2 pm to 8 pm on the connecting roads. Traffic will be diverted or restricted on a need basis as per the local situation, G. Sudheer Babu, additional commissioner of traffic police, stated in a press release.

Traffic will be restricted at AR Petrol Pump Jn.; vehicles will not be allowed towards the BJR statue and will be diverted towards Nampally or Ravindra Bharathi.

Traffic coming from Abids and Gunfoundry towards the BJR statue will be diverted at SBI Gunfoundry towards Chapel Road.

Traffic from Tank Bund towards Basheerbagh will be diverted at Liberty Jn. towards Himayatnagar, on a need basis.

Parking places:

Vehicles coming from Secunderabad via Tank Bund to alight at Ayakar Bhavan, parking at NTR Stadium

Vehicles coming from Mehdipatnam via Nirankari, old PS Saifabad, Iqbal Minar, Ravindra Bharathi and HTP Junction to alight and park at the Public Garden.

Vehicles coming from LB Nagar, Dilsukhnagar to alight inside the Public Garden, parking at Nizam College.

Vehicles coming from Musheerabad, Amberpet, and Himayatnagar to alight, park inside Nizam College grounds.
