Hyderabad: Residents seek regular water supply

Residents said that despite having made repeated complaints to HMWS&SB, their problems are yet to be addressed.

Hyderabad: Residents of Goods Shed Nampally claimed that they had been facing shortage of drinking water for the past twenty days. Moreover, there is no fixed time for water supply.

They get water only two or three days in a week, while Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) supplies water every alternate day in other areas.

Residents said that despite having made repeated complaints to HMWS&SB, their problems are yet to be addressed.

Earlier, water would be released around midnight and now-a-days they are not sure at what time it will come creating problems for families. Adding to the discomfort is that the pressure is low.

Meanwhile, Board officials admitted that there is a problem as Asif Nagar Filter Bed is not getting sufficient water from the reservoirs.
