Dr G Parameshwara’s PA suicide case: Probe begin

Sources said that the I-T officers turned away the police team, saying that they have not got any orders from their seniors.

Bengaluru: The Jnanabharathi police began the investigation into the suicide of former deputy chief minister Dr G Parameshwara’s personal assistant N.S. Ramesh.

The police visited the IT office in the city to record their statement as Ramesh had mentioned in the suicide note that he was ending his life because of
harassment of I-T officials.

Sources said that the I-T officers turned away the police team, saying that they have not got any orders from their seniors. They, however, assured the
Jnanabharathi police that they will give statements once they get consent from the head office. Ramesh’s suicide had hit the national headlines as it happened
when I-T department conducted tax raids on former DyCM Parameshwara’s residence and educational institutions in October.
