Jan Jagarana Samithi announces Rs 10 lakh reward for hitting Udayanidhi with footwear
The Jan Jagarana Samithi announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh to the individual who would hit Tamil Nadu minister Udayanidhi Stalin with a slipper for his Sanatana Dharma remark. The DMK minister likened Sanatana Dharma to malaria and dengue. Further, he said he would stick to his remark even in the face of legal hassles.
Posters announcing the reward were put up across the Telugu states. Udayanidhi Stalin sparked off a row by making the derogatory statement which drew criticism from several quarters following Hinduism.

One seer from Ayodhya also announced Rs 10 crore bounty on Udayanidhi's head. The seer even teared a picture of the TN minister with a sword and later burnt it.
The next day, the seer even said that he would increase the reward for beheading Udayanidhi.
Following this death threat, a DMK worker lodged a complaint following which a case has been registered in cyber crime unit, Madurai.
