Hyderabad: Rain due to low pressure, says IMD
Waterlogging was reported in different parts of the city and traffic movement was slowed down.
Hyderabad: A low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal will cause widespread rain on Saturday, the Indian Meteorological Department said.
On Friday evening, the city recorded light rain. A tree fell on electric wires at Kavadiguda and the disaster management team was rushed to the site to clear it.
Waterlogging was reported in different parts of the city and traffic movement was slowed down.
Officials said short spells of rain was not allowing road repairs. The officials are focusing on the Ganesha idols immersion route.
The disaster management wing received calls regarding waterlogging from 25 different areas. At Tank Bund, the team could be seen removing plastic bags from the trains to allow water to flow.
