Hyderabad: 1 dead, 3 injured in 3 accidents
Hyderabad: One person was killed and three others survived with injuries in three separate road accidents on the outskirts of Hyderabad at Shamshabad, Hayathnagar, and Ghatkesar.
In a hit-and-run accident, an unidentified vehicle hit a biker travelling towards the city near Thondupally on National Highway 44 and fled. The victim, Md Chand Pasha, 24, a native of Gopulapur in Nagarkurnool district was working as a welder in a shop in Almasguda, Meerpet.
At Hayathnagar, D. Ashok Goud, 59, a former RTC employee living at Abdullapurmet, was hit by an unidentified vehicle when he was travelling home on a bike on Thursday night. Ashok suffered severe head injuries and was admitted to a private hospital where he was declared brain dead and put on the ventilator. Hayathnagar police said that a case was registered on a complaint from Goud’s wife Aruna Jyothi.
At Ghatkesar, a bike on which two youngsters were travelling was hit by an RTC bus near the government hospital on Friday. The bike was crushed but the riders escaped. Ghatkesar inspector P. Raghuveer Reddy said that the victims had not approached police.
