Farmers in the district have cultivated cotton on nine lakh acres in the undivided Adilabad district.
According to official sources, nearly 540 metric tonnes of urea has been supplied so far and 200 metric tonnes more is required to meet the demand from farmers in the Utnoor division of Adilabad district.
