Hyderabad: Hunger strike at Bolarum Hospital

Hyderabad: Residents staged a one-day hunger strike on Cantonment Bolarum Hospital premises demanding 24/7 health care services in the Ward 8 of the Secunderabad Cantonment Board. The residents alleged that the hospital runs only for three hours properly and many are not able to avail any government schemes like the KCR kit.

Mr Sriganesh, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee Secretary, one of the candidates who sat for the hunger strike, said, “It’s becoming problematic for people to avail proper health facilities. Poor people in the cantonment are getting into debt trap by going to private hospitals.”
