Vijayawada: Four Congress leaders from Andhra Pradesh have been invited by the AICC to attend an orientation programme to be held on September 7.
The AICC invited APCC vice-president N. Tulasi Reddy and three others from the state for the programme to be held in New Delhi on Friday.
APCC general secretary S.N. Raja and two other leaders — Janga Gowtham and Pakkala Suribabu — were the others who got the invitation.
Mr Raja said AICC general secretary Ashok Gehlot has announced the names. He said the Congress has been getting good support of the public in 13 districts of AP. Hence the APCC will also conduct orientation programmes for the Congress leaders to streng-then the party from grassroots levels in the state.
