Hyderabad: The decomposed body of a 35-year-old man who committed suicide by consuming pesticide was found by the police on Tuesday night. The deceased, Syed Shareef, was a resident of Moin Bagh in Fatehnagar. "Shareef was married to one Rayeesa around 10 years back and the couple had three children. After five years of marriage Rayeesa came to know that Shareef had lied about the house and claimed it as his own. This created tensions and he left for Dubai, leaving his family behind who had shifted to Shaheennagar," said inspector Y. Nageshwar Rao. After returning from Dubai he rented a place at Moin Bagh, stayed alone and got addicted to alcohol. “Neighbours complained to us about a pungent smell and we found his body along with some pesticide bottles,” added Mr Rao.
The body was sent for post-mortem and a case was booked.
