We will ensure safety of Kashmiris in city: Top cop

The meeting was attended by DCPs, ACPs and inspectors and all major issues concerning the city.

Bengaluru: City Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao has said that in the wake of recent development of revoking of special status in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, the security in the city has been beefed up.

After meeting senior officers he told reporters, “We have received directives from the Central Ministry to provide proper security in the city as well in the state,” Rao explained.

The police have been told to ensure security for city residents who hail from Jammu and Kashmir. He also asked the police officers to identify such people in the city.

The meeting was attended by DCPs, ACPs and inspectors and all major issues concerning the city.
