COIMBATORE: The 12th edition of international textile machinery, accessories and spares exhibition ‘Texfair 2019’ will begin at Codissia trade fair complex here, on August 9.
The four-day exhibition, which is organised by the Southern India Mills Association (SIMA), will showcase modern developments in the textile sector.
SIMA is also organizing a ‘Farm To Finish Expo 2019’, an event showcasing the products of the entire textile value chain right from raw cotton.
Speaking to the media, P Nataraj, Chairman, SIMA, said, “About 250 exhibitors will be displaying their products and services in 320 stalls. Major products including textile machinery, spares, accessories, testing equipment, electrical and electronic components would be displayed at the fair.”
“Apart from leading textile machinery, spares, accessories manufacturers and suppliers from Tamil Nadu, exhibitors from other states including Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and from different European countries and Japan, China will also participate,” Nataraj added.
Ashwin Chandran, Vice-Chairman, SIMA was also present.
The fair will be open for visitors from 10 am to 6 pm till August 12.
