Hyderabad: A 30-year-old man collapsed and died in a movie theatre at Jeedimetla on Monday. The deceased M. Sunil Kumar, 30, a native of Srikakulam district had gone to watch Goodachari movie at Ranga theatre where he collapsed due to a heart problem.
Sunil and his friends M. Sai and A. Srinu, went to watch a movie on Monday morning at about 10.30 am.
Sunil sitting in seat no. ‘B 22’ complained of chest pain to Sai and said he was unable to breathe. Before Sai could react and call for help, Sunil collapsed in his chair. He was taken outside and an ambulance was called. But he died before it arrived.
Sai informed Sunil’s family members and alerted the Jeedimetla police, who booked a suspicious death case. The body was handed over to his family members after an autopsy.
The Jeedimetla police said that Sunil's family members confirmed that he had a heart problem and could have died due to that.
