Missing minor girls of BSF school traced in Delhi
Shillong: Two minor girls, who went missing from a high security BSF school here, were today found loitering at a railway station in New Delhi, officials said. The girls aged 10 and 8 year-old, both studying in 4th standard, did not return home on August 4 even as they attended all classes of the day.
"The missing girls have been found at Old Delhi Railway station and taken over by BSF representatives and are being brought back," P K Dubey of BSF Meghalaya FTR told PTI.
He said the two girls reportedly travelled by train on their own. Further details were awaited in this connection. According to Dubey, the girls left Shillong after school hours ended on the day they went missing.
Meghalaya police also confirmed the report. The school authorities maintained that the girls had exited from gate 3 and had lunch in the house of a local girl. They then went out of the school with their bags.
