Two women accuse TRS MP Balka Suman of sexual abuse, write to PM

They had gone to his flat to register their protest, but a complaint was filed against them.

Hyderabad: TRS MP Balka Suman has been accused of sexually harassing two women, who wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to seek his intervention.

The two women from Mancherial, sisters Boyini Sandhya and Vijetha, took the help of an advocate and a journalist to write to Mr Modi. News of the letter leaked out in the evening. Efforts to contact the complainants or their associates, Shankar and Gopal, proved futile.

In their letter, they alleged that Mr Suman had sexually exploited them. They had gone to his flat to register their protest, but a complaint was filed against them. “The cops have carefully prepared an FIR without mentioning TRS MP Balka Suman in the FIR,” the letter said.

The complainants alleged that North Zone Task Force inspector Nageswara Rao had taken information from them after restraining them. They alleged that the cops had threatened them with dire consequences if they revealed the “sexual connection” with Mr Suman in public.

Mr Suman denied the allegation and alleged that the sisters had previously circulated his morphed pictures and had been arrested in February.
