Protest on UoH tests during Eid

Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad’s decision to conduct interviews for M.Phil/M.Tech/Ph.D and other PG courses on Id-ul-Fitr on July 7 has not gone down well with students from the Muslim community.
The interviews were scheduled earlier assuming that the festival would fall on July 6. The Centre subsequently deferred the holiday from July 6 to July 7 but the varsity did not do the same, said a student leader.
