Making quality education accessible is priority, says MN Pandey
New Delhi: Mahendra Nath Pandey who took on Thursday charge as the Minister of State for Education said that his priority was to make quality education accessible to all the citizens of India.
Addressing the media, the Lok Sabha MP from Chandauli in Uttar Pradesh, said that the government has been working to raise the standards of education and it will continue to work in that direction.
Pandey has a doctorate in Hindi Language and a Masters in journalism as well was educated at the Banaras Hindu University.
He had been a member of Standing Committee on Rural Development and Consultative for Ministry of Steel and Mines in the 16th Lok Sabha. He was also a member of Business Advisory Committee and Parliament Committee on Official Language, a statement said.
