Bengaluru: Four city students bag honours at Science Olympiad

Sauradeep Sharmila Mandal, a class 6 student from Kendriya Vidyalaya Hebbal, bagged the top international rank.

Bengaluru: Four students from Bengaluru have bagged international rankings at the Science Olympiad Foundation's olympiad 2018-19, across various categories.

Sauradeep Sharmila Mandal, a class 6 student from Kendriya Vidyalaya Hebbal, bagged the top international rank. The Gold medal wen tto Archita Panikkar, a Class 5 student from National Public School, Indiranagar.

The International English Olympiad top rank went to Sonal Sachin Keni, who studies in Class 10 at B.G.S National Public School and Yukita Thangamma, a Class 7 student from The Samhita Academy took home the Gold Medal.

Around 50 lakh students from over 500,000 schools across 1,400 cities and 30 countries participated in the SOF Olympiad exams in 2018-19. Around 4.4. lakh students took part from Bengaluru alone.
