Chennai: Tamil writer and lyricist Francis J. Kiruba has been discharged from a murder case of an unidentified man in Koyambedu market place on Sunday.

Early on Monday, Koyambedu police booked the writer for murder under Section 302 of the India Penal Code. However, he was discharged from the murder case later.
