Kochi schools excel in Class X

Students of TocH, Christu Jayanthi bag fourth rank nationally.

Kochi: Most schools in central Kerala secured cent percent pass in the CBSE Class X board examinations, the results of which were declared on Monday. Rhea Rebecca Abin of TocH Public School, Vyttila, and Elvina Ann Charly of Rajagiri Christu Jayanthi School, Kakkanad, turned pride of Kochi by bagging the fourth rank at the national level by securing 99.2 per cent marks.

At TocH Vyttila, all 158 students passed while 20 students secured full A1. At Rajagiri Christu Jayanthi, all 208 students passed with 32 getting A1 in all subjects while 35 got first class.

At Saraswathi Vidyani-kethan, Elamakkara, all 93 students passed, out of which five students got A1 in all subjects while 13 got first class. Jyothi Nivas Public School, UC College Aluva, too, secured cent per cent with four students bagging A1 in all subjects. Pragati Academy, Perumbavoor recorded 15 first classes with all 83 students passing the exam.

At Gregorian Public School, Maradu, out of 103 passed, seven got full A1 and 14 got first class. At SBOA Public Sr. Sec. School, South Chittoor, of the 108 students passed, 29 got first class while two students got A1 in all subjects. Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vaduthala, has all its 154 students passing with 23 getting A1 in all subjects and 11 securing first class. Ajaykrishnan K. finished topper with 99 per cent marks. All 63 students Nava Nirman Public School, Vazhakkala, passed with 12 securing first class. At Choice School, Tripunithura, out of 196 students passed, 195 got first class while 24 got A1 in all subjects.

Greets Public School, too, scored a centum with all 50 students passing while six students got A1 in all subjects and 10 got first class. At Rajagiri Public School, Kalamassery, all 169 students passed with 42 getting A1 in all subjects.

Global Public School, Thiruvaniyoor, too, made a splendid show with all 108 students passing while eight got A1 in all subjects. At St Joseph Public School, NAD, Aluva, eight got first class out of all 27 passed. All 104 students passed 19 with first class, at Campion School, Edappally.

Seven Bhavan's schools in Ernakulam district too recorded cent percent results. Aiswarya Ramesh of Bhavan's Adarsha Vidyalaya came topper in the cluster with 99 per cent marks. BVM, Elamakkara has 19 A1 in all subjects while Adarsha Vidyalaya 10, Varuna Vidyalaya 14, Munshi Vidyashram 11, BVM Girinagar 17, BVM Eroor, 8, Newsprint Vidyalaya, Velloor, 11.

At Al Ameen Public School, Chandiroor, all 52 passed with 27 getting first class while at Jnanodhayam Public School, Edakochi, all 24 students passed and Jamath English Medium Public School, Naduvath Nagar, Vaduthala, all 22 students passed. At Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School, Kakkanad, all 179 students passed, 139 with distinction.

A total of 38 students got first class while six got A1 in all subjects. At Marygiri Public School, Koothattukulam, all 122 students passed, 14 got A1 in all subjects
